Biography

Changyan Yi has been with the College of Computer Science and Technology, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA), China, as a Professor, since September 2019. From September 2018 to August 2019, he worked as a Research Associate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Manitoba, Canada. He obtained both M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from University of Manitoba in 2014 and 2018, respectively, under the supervision of Prof. Jun Cai.

His research interests include stochastic optimization, game theory, incentive mechanism, queueing scheduling and machine learning with applications in resource management and decision making for various networking systems. Recently, he is mostly interested in "digital twin at the network edge for human-centric services", from the view of communication, computation and system control.
